Need for speed?
Ladies take the wheel for Prospect’s fastest fundraiser
Come on ladies - just how good are you behind the wheel?
Prospect Hospice is asking women with a taste for speed to get in touch to take part in the fourth annual running of its popular Ladies’ Driving Challenge on Sunday 27th September.

The event, in which women raise sponsorship money for the Wroughton-based Hospice by taking the wheel of big, powerful and fast vehicles, is billed as the ultimate driving challenge, and has attracted around 150 women to RAF Lyneham since it was first staged in 2006.
The launch today was at The Royal Mail Depot in Dorcan, along with Ridgeway 4x4 who have supported the LDC event since it was first launched in 2006.
In gear for charity
“We’re thrilled to be heading back to RAF Lyneham for this year’s Ladies’ Driving Challenge, commented Hayley Millin, Prospect fundraiser
“All the factors that have made the LDC so successful in recent years will be back again, with diggers, police cars, 4x4s and artic trucks already lined up, and we’re looking to add a new vehicle to the event this year – so my advice is, watch this space!,” she added.
