Lydiard Park hosts the Royal British Legion's Field of Remembrance, which pays tribute to the brave Servicemen and women who have lost their lives serving in Afghanistan.

The Field, which is located in the Walled Garden, opens with a special service on Friday 8 November at 11am (please arrive by 10.30am), and will feature over 30,000 personal Remembrance Tributes.

Remembrance Garden Lydiard Park Field, Swindon

The Garden will be open 9am to 4pm until Sunday 17 November.

St Mary's Church at Lydiard Park will be holding a daily Act of Reflection at 2pm from 09 to 16 November and will present a closing service on Sunday 17 November.

Run 2 Remember

The Royal British Legion are also inviting people to join them in their annual fun-run around the grounds of Lydiard Park on Saturday 09 November, the day before Remembrance Sunday.

The event, organised to remember a loved one, or to show respects to all those who’ve fought and fallen. Money raised will support the Legion’s work helping injured service men and women, veterans and their families.
