Brighter Futures Family Fun Day

A summer fete to raise money towards a ground breaking new breast cancer treatment

 

Christ Church Community Centre, Cricklade Street

Wednesday 20 August 2014, 11.00am - 3.00pm

 

The Family Fun day takes place on the 20th August with a number of activities to raise money towards Brighter Futures, the Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's charity.

 

The Trust wants to offer intra-operative radiotherapy for breast cancer at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon. This pioneering treatment is new to the UK and is currently not available in the South West; however doctors say it would make a big difference to the lives of up to 150 women a year in Swindon.

 - Guess the Teddy's Name

 - Arts and Crafts

 - Origami

 - Lolly Pop Game

 - Treasure hunt
