Swindon Half-Marathon 2017

Running in Swindon in association with Swindon Chiropractic Clinic
An ALL-NEW course attracted over 3,000 runners to take part in the Swindon Half-Marathon today.
 
A 'race' won by Ben Cole (pic. below) , who completed the 13.1m in 1hr 8mins 2s.

Last year the event was unfortunately cancelled after 12 runnings, but a new team in charge, a brand-new 'flatter' route - which included the Magic Roundabout, Wood Street in Old Town & a finish in Wharf Green - plus the return of Nationwide as sponsors saw the Swindon streets full of runners once again.

Well done to all those who helped organise it; volunteer as marshalls; brave the rain to cheer everyone on & all those who completed it!
