Paul Weller a big hit at Oasis gig in Swindon

 

Rock-star legend Paul Weller put on an impressive performance at the Oasis Leisure Centre last night.

 

'The Jam' former member took to the stage as part of his UK tour.

In front of a sold-out crowd the Modfather played a number of songs from his forthcoming album '22Dreams'.

 

But as ever, on these sorts of nights, it was the familiar favourites which proved to be the biggest crowd-pleasers.
 

"He was absolutely brilliant," said Helen Keys, 16, from Old Town, "when my dad said he had got us tickets I wasn't too sure if I would like the music, but he has proved me wrong!"
