The Heath Quartet make a welcome return to the Wyvern to mark the Centenary of WWI

Following an acclaimed Carnegie Hall debut, the Heath Quartet make a welcome return to Swindon to mark the Centenary of WWI.

 

Their programme juxtaposes Beethoven’s monumental Op.131 (as featured in the film ‘A late quartet’) with ‘Private Joe’ by Roxanna Panufnik based on letters from the front sent home by a relative of baritone Nigel Cliffe.
