Young people urged to get their skates on

New look to casual ice skating programme

 

Swindon Borough Council has come up with a cool new offer to get more young people on the ice.

 

The Link Centre has just released its new casual ice skating programme which will feature new DJs, a Kids Club and special speed sessions.

 

And in an effort to encourage young people to get their skates on, some of the sessions are priced at just £2.

 

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

 

The new ‘Skoolz out SK8’ slot will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 4.30pm and 6pm with the Thursday session priced at just £2 per person until 17 December - a saving of up to £3.70.

 

Live DJs create a club atmosphere to accompany the Sub Zero Club sessions on Friday nights between 8.30pm and 10.30pm, making it an ideal evening out for the under 20s.

 

A Cool Kids Club will run on Saturday mornings from 10am until 12pm and is the perfect treat for young families with fun, games and special guest start Willie Wildcat.

Adults and children watching the Swindon Wildcats from 5.45pm on Saturdays can also take advantage of a £2 skating session, with adults saving up to £5.60.

 

This special price is available to anyone on the 8.30-10.30pm Club Classics Session after attending the Wildcats match and is available until 19 December.
