Fredericks Foundation Launch Wiltshire Loan Fund

Business owners are invited to attend the launch of a new scheme aimed at funding new enterprise.

The Fredericks Foundation is a charity dedicated to supporting small scale enterprise by providing loan finance where banks are unable to help.

 

In association with GWE Business West and Wiltshire Council, and supported by Swindon Borough Council, the Foundation have secured a loan fund to start the project - and at a launch event at the STEAM museum will set out practical ways in which they can help with this initiative to boost the Wiltshire and Swindon economy and combat the effects of recession.

The day starts at 10am and is an informal event with Paul Barry-Walsh, members of the Fredericks team and a range of business people and interested parties from Swindon and Wiltshire.

 

Central to Fredericks model is that the loan operation be run by local people who have a vested interest in their local economy and we are keen to hear your views as well as to pass on our experience from other regions.

There will be a number of presentations, including some from Fredericks clients, followed by a buffet lunch.
