Swindon Festival of Literature 2010 -Vitali Vitaliev

VITALI VITALIEV – on Life as a Literary Device

Do you remember Clive James’ man in Moscow?
Are you interested in the power of Literature?
Do you think life in the West is easy or hard?
Are you curious about human behaviour?
What is a cultural commentator?
Can the words of great writers be a means to survival?

If these questions interest you, then Vitali Vitaliev will too.

Twenty years ago, Ukranian-born Vitali defected from the Soviet Union.

Since then he has written and commented on life the world over.

Author of Dreams on Hitler’s Couch and, most recently, Life as a Literary Device, and erstwhile star of Have I Got News for You, here is a thinker, writer, and speaker who not only loves Literature but also knows exactly how to be seriously serious and seriously funny without ever being unduly solemn.

Tickets for this event are priced at £6.  Please contact the Arts Centre for any further information.
