Swindon Festival of Literature 2010 - Anil Ananthaswamy

ANIL ANANTHASWAMY – on the frontiers of cosmology and The Edge of Physics.

What are the world’s most audacious experiments in physics?
Where are they taking place?
What do they find?
Would you like to have light shed on dark matter, dark energy, and quantum gravity?

Reporting back from some of the most dramatic research sites on our planet, consulting editor for the New Scientist, and author of The Edge of Physics, Anil Ananthaswamy explains the problems that scientists are trying to solve.

He also has stories about the people and places, including the CERN Large Hadron Collider and the Indian Observatory in the Himalayas, at the heart of this research.

Tickets - £6 (£5)

DOUBLE TICKET £10 for two events:
Steve Jones 6.30pm and Anail Ananthaswamy 8pm

Please contact the Arts Centre for any further details.
