Ask an explorer!
Your chance to talk to Swindon adventurer David Hempleman-Adams
Swindon adventurer David Hempleman-Adams will give an insight in to his career as one of the world's greatest explorers at the Arts Centre later this month.
Famous as the first man in history to reach the Geographic and Magnetic North and South Poles as well as climb the highest peaks in all seven continents, Moredon-born Hempleman-Adams will be conducting an informal question and answer session in aid of the Mayor's charity.
Having just finished third in the 54th Coupe Aéronautique Gordon Bennett 2010 balloon race in which two of his fellow competitors tragically died, the evening offers a unique opportunity to ask questions relating to the thrills and dangers of exploring the world.
Tickets are £12.50 and include drinks and a buffet.
