Battered Moons Poetry Competition

The seven poets who have been successful in Swindon’s second Battered Moons Poetry Competition will read their poems.

Poems will also be read by -

Poet-judge, Lesley Saunders
Poet-judge/organiser, Cristina Newton
Poet-registrar, Hilda Sheehan
Whitbread Prize-winning published poet Paul Farley.

There will also be Serene Boulton on piano with guitar accompaniment.

In the second half, members of Swindon’s BlueGate Poets will read from their lively 2010 Anthology of Poems.

They will be joined by Talis Kimberly and her floating band.
