Half-Term Fun - No Kiddin'!

Children (and parents) enjoy live birthing at Roves Farm this week

Things To Do in Swindon
Mums, dads and kids have been getting close to nature this week in Swindon - quite literally.

At Roves Farm in Sevenhampton, it's birthing week for their herd of pygmy goats. And it's proved quite an attraction - inside out of the rain!

Today, Ivy, their 3-year-old, grey nanny goat gave birth in front of a mesmerised young crowd, while on-hand expert Pippa Burr gave a helping hand.

Children are allowed to handle the kid goats after a few days, with those born last week already jumping around the barn.
