Jubilee Gardens Project Open Day

Pick up your gifts in Purton this December and help improve the lives of adults with learning difficulties

Jubilee Gardens Project, Purton
Saturday 06 December 2014, 10:00am - 3.00pm

The Jubilee Gardens Project was set up 36 years ago and the popular pre-Christmas open day has been held every year since then, becoming a traditional part of Christmas for people in the area.

The Project, based in the old primary school on Cricklade Road, near Purton, teaches adults with learning difficulties life skills including literacy, numeracy, colour recognition, time management and social skills through horticulture. They also have classroom based training in literacy, numeracy and art.

Items on sale between 10am-3pm on December 6, will include flowers, plants, pickles, cakes, and a variety of Christmas decorations – all made by students from the Jubilee Gardens Project.
