Swindon Art Centre hosts Sam's debut solo concert in his hometown of Swindon

Since starting his performing career at the age of 7, Sam has been a member of many local performing societies which gave him the chance to showcase his growing talent and passion to a local audience.

 

At the age of 16 Sam successfully gained a place at The BRIT School in London. This gave him 2 years of invaluable musical theatre training leading to some incredible performance opportunities such as; performing as a solo artist at the O2 Arena for Voice In A Million in 2011, and more recently singing solo with the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall.

 

In 2011 Sam decided to create his own YouTube channel (YouTube.com/SamWearing) so he could portray his passion for performing in a different light. Never would he have expected it to become so popular leading him to reach over half a million views on his videos. This has generated an ever growing online audience from which Sam receives positive feedback and support from people who enjoy watching his videos worldwide.

 

This promises to be a very special evening as Sam takes you on his personal journey with an array of musical theatre classics, pop songs, and a few musical surprises along the way. Sam will be joined on stage by musical director Ben Kennedy who will be providing live grand piano accompaniment throughout the evening.
