Once again, thousands of people braved the cold to enjoy an evening of family fun and entertainment for the annual Christmas light switch-on in Swindon town centre.
Local celebrities, dancers and performers incl. Colour The Atlas, Josh Kumra, STFC & Wildcats stars, Keith Chegwin (via a live link) and Wyvern panto chums all joined together on stage in Wharf Green.
X-Factor star Jahmene Douglas sang and was officially on the plunger to do the illuminating honours.

A stunning firework display sponsored by the Brunel Shopping Centre brought the event to a finale and marked the official start of Christmas in Swindon!
