Former Players Reunite for Young Charlie

Swindon Town players from the past will don their boots again this weekend to raise money for 5-year old Charlie Allen

This Sunday will be a very special day for one young football fan in Swindon. 5-year old Charlie Allen was diagnosed with Leukaemia earlier this year and has already undergone a first round of chemotherapy at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

 

The charity match at the weekend aims to raise funds to help make Charlie and his mother's life a little easier for the three and a half years that the doctors have said he will undertake chemotherapy.

 

Players such as Lee Hendrie, Paul Bodin, Phil Ifil and Paul Hunt have already been confirmed and current Town keeper Wes Foderingham will also be coming along on the day to sign autographs.

 

There's even a spot in the team for former jockey John Francombe!

 

Tickets: £5.00 per adult, £2.00 per child
