McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon opens its doors to an entire range of fun filled activities and entertainment for all the family this summer.

 

From creative crafts to live music; Swindon locals can find everything they need to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays. Combine shopping with a day of family fun with this line-up of exciting in-centre activities…

 

 

Festival Garden
from Monday 25th July to Wednesday 31st August

 

Available all summer the Festival Garden is the perfect place to sit back, relax and soak up the atmosphere after browsing the shops. Take time out to grab a cold drink or stock up on treats at the confectionary vendor. Shoppers are also invited to capture the moment at one of the outlet’s photo selfie stations.

 

Live Music

Every Thursday, from Thursday 28th July to Thursday 25th August, 5pm – 8pm

 

Enjoy acoustic sessions every Thursday from UK wide talent

 

Farmers’ Market

Every Sunday throughout the year, 10am – 5pm

 

Relish the taste of freshly baked bread, British cheese and locally produced cider from the Cotswold countryside at the weekly Farmers’ Market. The wide variety of tempting stalls are the perfect place to sample home-grown produce or to try something new.

 

Hornby Hobbies – Make & Take and Scalextric

Every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 27th August

 

In the ‘Hornby Hobbies zone’ budding racers can take to the tracks with the centre’s very own scalextric every day throughout summer. Plus, kids can take a piece of the action away with them at the make & take station every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. 

 

Create & Craft

Every Wednesday from Wednesday 27th July – Wednesday 31st August

 

Get creative at one of the outlet’s crafting workshops. From cookie decorating to painting there’s an opportunity for every little artist to use their imagination.

Garden Trail

Everyday from Saturday 30th July – Sunday 4th September

 

Children can also join in the Garden Trail, and test their powers of observation to see if they can spot the clues hiding in windows around the outlet. Entry forms can be picked up from the Visitor Information Centre.

 

Food Festival

Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st August

 

For one weekend only sample the delights of UK wide street food suppliers at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon food festival.
