Meet the Railway Workers

Take a step back in time and meet the engine drivers, firemen and railway workers who worked on the locomotives and in the Swindon Works.

 

 

The former GWR workers will show you how the locos worked and bring stories of the steam age to life.

 

You'll be invited to 'climb aboard' the famous No. 4073 Caerphilly Castle as a team of STEAM volunteers show you 'the controls' and bring stories of the steam age to life.
