Remembrance Sunday Service at STEAM

Remember the fallen on Sunday 08 November

 

On Sunday 8 November at 3pm, there will be a special commemorative service held at STEAM Museum of the Great Western Railway.

 

The ceremony is to remember the many Swindon railway workers, as well as all the service men who have lost their lives during periods of conflict.

 

The service will be led by Janet Done, Lay Minister of Swindon Deanery and will be held alongside the war memorials that are on permanent display inside the Museum.

 

The Mayor of Swindon, Councillor David Wren will read the Exhortation.

 

There is no charge for admission to the Remembrance Sunday Service.
