Kentwood Choir is Singing to the Animals

The Kentwood Show Choir are once again bringing the festive spirit to Roves Farm.

They say never to work with children and animals, but the Kentwood Choir will be singing their carols in their own unique way with both……who knows what will happen!

This year the choir will be using the Nativity Stable Scene set up in the Large Animal Barn. The cow, llama (alias camel), horses, donkeys and sheep will all be looking on and probably helping to sing, knowing the donkeys!

There will be plenty of seats and bales of straw for everyone to sit on, but do wrap up warm!

All proceeds from the concert and raffle go to the Prospect Hospice.

Tickets are £7 for adults and £4 for children aged 5 and over.

Bookings can be made in advance by telephone or in person, only during opening hours 9.30 – 4.30, at the Roves FarmVisitor Centre (01793 763939), or from Brooks Bakery in Highworth.

Doors open at 2.30pm for Concert-goers, but families may wish to combine their trip with a visit to Santa in his farm grotto and take part in the nativity plays and craft sessions that the Centre runs throughout the December.
