New College Fashion Show 2007
A catwalk collection of colour and creativity showcased a year of hard work at New College today.
Entitled 'Be-Dazzled', textile students modelled and choreographed their own designs in an hour-long fashion show featuring over fifty different costume and set changes, plus a variety of dance routines.

Unique pieces such as a sculptural bird dress using origami, a dress made of 70s soap powder packaging as well as various bodices, neck pieces and skirts all on display for friends, family and college tutors to enjoy.

"They were amazing," said Kate Gale, lecturer in textiles, "the diversity of work was incredible and all the students should be hugely proud of themselves."
The show continues at New College with two displays on Friday 22 June at 2pm and 7pm.
