Challenge Swindon 2008 a great success!

Swindon was alive with sporting action this weekend, as the 2008 Festival of Sport got the whole town on their feet.

From beach volleyball at Coate Water, to tag rugby at the Polo Ground - local businesses from all over Swindon got involved.

And car fleet company Arval particularly rose to the challenge, with over 150 members of staff entering events.

It was a real victory for New College as they took to the lake at Coate Water on Saturday - coming away with the trophy for Short Race winner, Long Race winner, and overall winner.

It was like a scene from a Californian beach. Sun, sand... but unfortunately no sea.

The beach volleyball court - brought to Coate Water for the Corporate Games in 2006 - played host to a number of teams eager to volley their way in to the leader board.
