Race for Life 2008

Thousands of women and girls from across Swindon took part in the  Cancer Research UK Race for Life at Lydiard Park this weekend.
 
The beautiful 5km route (3.1 miles) took in one of Swindon's top beauty spots - and with 2194 participants on Saturday, and 2331 on Sunday, our girls really got going!
 
Swindon's fundraising target for the weekend is a whopping £171,000 - so keep on to friends and family to make sure you collect what they've pledged.
