They may not have quite had the weather they hoped for but over two thousand people still enjoyed Swindon's 8th Forest Festival today.

Organised by the Great Western Community Forest [GWCF], Swindon’s biggest ‘green’ family event took place in its usual location, the picturesque Lawn, Old Town.

Celebrating trees and their products, promoting a greener lifestyle and providing information about the work of GWCF, the event was sponsored by Thames Water.
