Funny for the money
Red noses and big laughs all round in Swindon
People all across Swindon did something funny for money today in aid of Comic Relief.
Dancing in the street, pyjama parties, cake sales, exercise marathons, sponsored silences and even cross-dressing all helped raise thousands of pounds.
Cross-dressing comedy!

And in Highworth high street, one man 'had it off' for the first time in 45 years, when Tony Brooks raised over £300 to have his beard shaved off in full view of cheering staff and customers at Brooks's coffee shop.

While across the road at Two's Company hairdressers, the usually very chatty Emma Blake managed some how to not speak for ten hours and only communicated using an etch-a-sketch!

And a thrilling time was had by all at Isambard Community school in North Swindon, where pupils dressed as zombies to recreate the dance scene from Michael Jackson's famous Thriller video (see SWTV above).
All in all, a day of big laughs and fun that everyone agreed was well worth the effort.
