Swindon & Cricklade railway perform emergency training to test their skills
Emergency crews rushed to the scene of a major accident on a local railway on 14 December - all in the name of training.
The event was organised to highlight the dangers of ignoring warnings on rail crossings.
The 'accident' involved two cars with five passengers in total being crushed by a train, which took emergency crews 6 hours to 'free' them from the wreckage.
Whilst the photos below do look convincing, no one was actually hurt during the training session.
