Rotarian camps out in Highworth market square for charity
The 62-year-old Swindon North Rotarian is camping out on the podium all week to raise money for Shelterbox, a charity who provide emergency, tented accommodation and supplies for people affected by natural disasters.
"I hope to raise enough money to buy one actual shelterbox," Terry told us, "which includes a tent big enough for a small family, blankets, water filtration equipment, a stove, plus other essential equipment."
"Just one costs about £600 and they're desperately needed all over the world."
Terry plans to live in a Shelterbox tent for the whole week and is being supported by a number of local businesses including Brooks's bakery, Rafus, The Highworth restaurant, Saracens Head pub and Wrag Barn Golf Club.
