Constantine "Costi" Voulgaris, 19, died when the Vauxhall Corsa he was in crashed into a tree on Marlborough Road, Swindon, before catching fire.
The driver, Luke John Cowley, 18, was sentenced to 21 months in prison earlier today.
Cowley had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to causing death by dangerous driving.

UPDATE, 29 June 2012 at 10:45am: The 17-year-old driver of the car involved in a road accident which tragically killed Constantine 'Costi' Voulgaris has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Over 50 cars followed the funeral procession of Costi Voulgaris, who died early month in car smash on Marlborough Road.
It was a final tribute by friends and family for the teenager, who was laid to rest today - his 20th birthday - after a ceremony at Kingsdown Crematorium.

This was the scene at the car park at Matalan in Greenbridge tonight as friends gathered to pay tribute to Costi Voulgaris.
The 19-year-old died in a horrific car smash on the Marlborough Road in Old Town in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The Vauxhall Corsa in which he was a passenger collided with a tree near the junction with Windsor Road and caught fire. The driver was treated at GWH for minor injuries including burns to his hands.
