Local personality, DJ and broadcaster Ron Inglis (aka Travolta) is laid to rest
Today (Wednesday 29 August) saw local personality, DJ and broadcaster Ron 'Travolta' Inglis carried into Holy Family Church in Marlow Avenue Swindon, for a celebration of his life service, which was attended by about 150 local dignitaries, fellow broadcasters and people from the music and entertainment industry.
In true 'Ron' style the final curtain came down to Tina Turner's 'Simply The Best'.
The Manchester City football shirt adorning his casket was a birthday present from his fiance Shirley Ludford, who was supposed to have given it to him later on the day that he died.
RIP Ron 'Travolta' Inglis.
