Don't Milk Us Dry!

Furious dairy farmers blockade Iceland in Swindon

Frustrated dairy farmers vented their anger at Iceland last night with a protest at the supermarket chain's national distribution centre in Swindon.

Dozens of local farmers attended with tractors to raise attention to the on-going 'milk crisis', after Iceland further reduced the cost of a 4-pint carton to 89p - below cost price.

"It's not a fair price and we're fighting for our livelyhoods here," said one protester.
