Goldenhar and Prospect benefit from fundraising year in office

 
Two of Swindon's most treasured charities are considerably better off this week after a presentation in the mayor's parlour.

  
Goldenhar UK received a cheque for £4,666 from former Swindon mayor Teresa Page, who chose the charity during her year in office from 2014-2015.

The Prospect Hospice similarly got a boost to the tune of £4,571.31. 

The picture below shows Alan Holmes (left), grandson Morgan Sharpe, who suffers from the Goldenhar syndrome, Teresa Page and John Holmes, Morgan's great grandfather.

  
Fundraiser Amy Francombe was on hand to receive the cheque on behalf of The Prospect Hospice.
