Nice one, Matt!

Front-page mention for Swindon as Telegraph lampoons eye-watering price increase for Paddington commuters

Rail commuters across the UK are set to be hit by a series of eye-watering price hikes across the network next year, with Swindon's daily travellers suffering particularly badly.

The price rise, which will come into force in January, will see a season ticket from Swindon to Paddington on GWR cost a whopping £9,448. With £10K soon predicted.

Oh, and that won't even guarantee you a seat!

The Telegraph summed up the situation in typical comical style with this cartoon appearing on their front page today.

Nice one, Matt!
