Motorists' misery on the A419 

Lorry crash causes rush-hour tailbacks
 
A serious collision between two HGVs causes misery for motorists on the A419 this evening.
 
The crash - which occured just after 4.30pm - brought traffic to a standstill on the Swindon bypass near the Stratton-St-Margaret turning.

A log jam that at one point stretched for over 2 miles.
 
Emergency services attended the scene, with one lorry driver involved in the incident taken to the nearby GWH with minor injuries and shock.
 
The road was closed for over five hours as a result.
