Swindon BNP members exposed
Local names leaked on internet blog
Swindon has 56 members of the British National Party it has been revealed.
A leaked list of current and former paid-up members of the far-right party was exposed this week on an internet blog site - much to the embarrassment of many on the list.
17 of those named with Swindon addresses were women.
Out of a total of 12,000 listed, Swindon represented just under 0.5%.
Police are investigating the leak, which one Swindon BNP member described as 'a potentially very dangerous breach of privacy'. |
