It's one of the world’s greatest musical events and a grand British tradition which combines stirring anthems, rampant flag waving, outrageous headwear and fancy dress and sing-a-longs to die for.
And last night the colour, atmosphere and spirit of the Last Night of the Proms was re-created in the heart of Swindon with a special event in the town centre.
The three hour extravaganza was beamed live from the Royal Albert to the town’s Big Screen.
