Bishop of Swindon Christmas video message

Local Bishop broadcasts Christmas message online

The Bishop of Swindon has posted his Christmas message as a video on the internet.

The short video message gives his perspective on the message of Christmas and is intended to reach those who wouldn’t normally go to church.

‘Given the importance of the Christmas season in so many people’s lives, it is interesting that there is confusion for so many people about what it is really about,’ says Rt Revd Lee Rayfield.

‘My message this year talks about what I believe as a Christian has been revealed through the original Christmas.

‘It makes sense to put this message online as the internet gives it the widest possible reach. I hope people in Swindon and beyond will take the opportunity to watch it.’

The Bishops’ Christmas videos can be viewed at http://www.bristol.anglican.org/ or http://www.youtube.com/user/DioceseofBristol. They are available to be embedded on other sites.
