Taking the plunge for charity

Swindon Sub-Aqua Club swim the Thames for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution

The ducks and swans had to move over on Sunday, as 12 members of the Swindon Sub-Aqua Club took to the Thames.

Raising money for the RNLI, twelve swimmers floated two miles down the Thames from Inglesham to Lechlade, in an event which has now been held for almost 30 years.

Bobbing along down the river the swimmers eventually arrived at the lock near The Trout pub in Lechlade, where they were greeted with some much deserved soup and refreshments.
