Empire cinema join forces with Help for Heroes

 

It was a mixture of ice cream and soldiers today at Empire Swindon... but wake up ladies it's not a dream but for charity!

 

The Empire Cinema in Greenbridge teamed up with Help for Heroes to give away Ben and Jerry's ice cream to raise money for the worthy cause.

 

 

The event ran between 12pm and 5pm, plus there was a raffle with the chance to win unlimited cinema throughout May for two people and the opportunity to win an exclusive Twilight eclipse poster.

 

"We're just delighted to help," commented Trudy East, Empire Swindon.

 

 

"And with the nice weather it's definitely encouraging passers by to donate."
