Maasai Magic! 

Kenya's favourite tribe comes to Swindon 

 

On Saturday 05 June there was something distinctly African about The Brunel in Swindon, as our pictures show.

 

The shopping centre received a visit from four members of the Maasai tribe from Kenya.

 

As well as being able to watch performances of dance and songs, shoppers were invited to have their photograph taken while wearing the Maasai’s tribal robes, hear short talks about the Maasai culture and have the opportunity to buy traditional African pieces made by the tribe.
