Skate Park restoration

The Walcot community help repair the Buckhurst Field skatepark

The Walcot community – and few well-known faces – came together to help repair to the Buckhurst Field skatepark.

BBC Wiltshire’s Graham Mack asked Council leader Rod Bluh, Police superintendent Paul Howlett, MP Robert Buckland and Swindon Mayor Rex Barnett amongst others to join him, local adults and children to give the recently vandalised park a lick of paint at the weekend.

“It’s important we come together and get involved,” commented Mr Buckland, MP for South Swindon.
