Total Star beat us in the media challenge as the Wildcats beat Telford
The Swindon Wildcats got the better of Telford Tigers last night with a superb 10-4 victory.
But in between periods it was up to SwindonWeb to entertain the crowd at the Link Centre, as we took part in the 'Media Charity Ice Challenge' - which meant yours truly puckering up against Total Star FM and the Adver!
The first challenge consisted of manoeuvring through cones before ducking under an obstacle.
A task that didn't go too welll!..... and SwindonWeb in last position after round one.

However, we didn't let this dampen our spirits as we faced the next challenge - the penalty shoot-out!
Chris Smith ended up being the star man of this round, scoring 2 out of 2, but unfortunately Total Star took all three points once again.
This left us overall coming third, but happy with the response from the crowd.
"It was a new idea to keep the crowd entertained between periods and raise money for charity," commented Steve Nell, Wildcats Manager.
"It was definitely entertaining, and something we would definitely look to organise again.

SwindonWeb were representing the National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society (NASS), any money anyone could donate towards this great charity would be greatly appreciated.
