Lunar Eclipse 

Did you see it in Swindon? No, nor did we! So here's a video of what it looks like
 
There was a lunar eclipse of the moon tonight, but chances are if you live in Swindon you missed it.
 
The rare occurence happens when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle.
 
And for many it marks the longest day of the year. The last one was in December 2010, probably the shortest.
 
In all the excitement we found this video of one filmed in Swindon in 2007.
