Studley Grange Craft Village & Butterfly World is located just off the M4 at Junction 16, and is the perfect destination for all the family no matter the weather.

 

Not only can you meet some of the most beautiful butterflies in the world in the Butterfly House, but if you're feeling particularly brave you can even get up close and personal with some of the scarier looking creatures housed within the reptile retreat! You may even get to meet George - Studley's 15 year old tortoise who is often found roaming around the enclosures!

 

The Animal Paddock is also a popular destination and is home to Meerkats, Otters, Goats and many other fascinating animals. Best of all, the knowledgeable team at Studley Grange are always on-hand to answer your questions.

 

New to 2015: The Zoo Keeper Experience

 

 

New to Studley Grange in 2015 is the Zoo Keeper Experience, which gives anybody aged 8 and above the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with many of the animals at Studley Grange including the meerkats, otters and snakes!

 

Available on Saturdays and Sundays

 

During the 2 and a half hour experience, you'll be invited to assist with the preparation of the food, help with animal health checks, muck out - you'll even get to feed the inquisitive meerkats!

 

Not for the squeamish, this hands-on experience costs £50 per person and includes a souvenir certificate as a memento of your day.

When you've explored everything that Butterfly World has to offer - how about a spot of shopping at the Craft Village? The 25 Units housed within Studley's walls offer a wide variety of arts and crafts, and you can even participate in one of the many creative workshops available at Sparkle Dreams, Q Ceramics and Pop In & Paint.
