Honey To The Bees!
Win a case of Arkell's award-winning Bee's Organic Ale
Last month was Organic September and strangely Swindon is actually regarded as one of
the places to be to sample some of the finest organic food and drink in the country.
The organisers of Organic Month, The Soil Association, are even holding their Annual Conference here this month!
The conference aims to bring together businesses, campaigners and producers, and anyone with an interest in changing our food system for the better.
Award-winning organic ale
Launched in 2001, Arkell's Bees Organic uses organically-grown malted barley, hops and, unusually, organically-produced honey in the brew. These give this cask-conditioned ale a light, fresh taste - with the organic honey providing a delightful and surprising flavour.
Timely then for SwindonWebTV to meet up with Head Brewer Alex Arkell, who told us a little more about what goes into making their organic ale.
