Swindon 2 Plymouth 3Npower League One
RESULT: Swindon Town 2 Plymouth Argyle 3
Town scorers: Prutton 37 Rose 74
Plymouth scorers: Johnson 4, Wright-Phillips (2) 8, 90+6
Swindon were stunned by goals at the start and finish of this game leaving Danny Wilson contemplating a change in defence.
"Yes, I may look at things," he admitted after watching his side concede twice in the first eight minutes, then again right at the death to end their three match winning streak.
"We didn't defend well from the off and it cost us. You just can't give a side like Plymouth a two-goal start and expect something from the game."
Early mistakes - then fightback
Town made the worst possible start when keeper David Lucas made a hash of claiming a long throw to allow Johnson to head home in the fourth minute, before Bradley Wright-Phillips was the first to react to poke home number two.
A determined Town response only rewarded just before half-time when David Prutton fired home.
That became 2-2 when an energised Robins equalised through a superb Michael Rose - on for an injured Alan Sheeham - free-kick only for the influential Prutton to be sent-off just minutes after for a second bookable offence.
Down to ten men, Swindon still created chances but a lack of quality up front plus some solid Plymouth defending thwarted any chance of a winner.
The curse of the late arriving in the sixth minute of injury time when Wright-Phillips grabbed his second and all three points for the visitors.
