Massimo Luonogo completed the best move of the game to give Town their first win.

 

The Australian's left foot connected superbly from 25 yards after a patient, twenty pass build up involving seven players.

 

And with the likes of captain Darren Ward and Grant Hall rock solid in the Swindon defence it was enough for all three points despite Stevenage having second-half chances.

 

"Some of our football in the first-half was exceptional," commented a delighted Mark Cooper, "but we didn't finish them off and that caused us problems after the break.

 

"This result will give the players a lot of belief. We're getting better every game."
