Swindon are up to 3rd in the League One led by Bristol City after a dominant second-half performance Mark Cooper understatedly described as 'very professional'.

 

The first half gave little indication of what was to come - a drab and uneventful first 45 minutes passed with neither side offering anything in terms of an attacking threat.

 

But the game sprung to life after a team talk when Town had a number of efforts before Nathan Byrne broke into the box and shot low past keeper Ross Turnbull to break the deadlock.

 

Byrne again starred when he cut-back from the byline to find Jake Reeves unmarked for an easy second before Andy Williams sealed the deal a minute later.

The only sour note being the news that goal-scoring sensation Jonathan Obika may be sidelined for some time after a first-half shoulder injury.
