It might not have been the greatest of weekends for one half of North London, but a former Arsenal Academy youngster was having the time of his life on Saturday.

 

20-year old left-back Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill notching an important equaliser for Town in a fascinating clash at Bramall Lane.

 

Swindon never like doing things the easy way though, and after just 8-minutes - disaster!

 

Jordan Turnbull scything down the on-rushing Paul Coutts and leaving the referee with the easiest of decisions to point to the spot.

 

Billy Sharp converted the subsequent penalty, and moments later he almost had another - heading narrowly wide from a Martyn Woolford freekick.

 

Town's second half performance was much more assured, and with 11 minutes left on the clock it was over to Ormonde-Ottewill to level the scores.

 

Yaser Kasim picking out the youngster, who cut inside two diving Sheffield defenders before slotting away to the keepers right.

 

If any team was going to win now, it was going to be the visitors, but despite late chances for Thompson and Obika - the Blades net refused to ripple.

 

Town manager Luke Williams was pleased with what he saw "This is a very tough place to come and play. I thought the performance was really good and in the end we're a bit disappointed not to go away with three points. I enjoyed the performance and seeing the players give everything."
