Hereford 1 Swindon 1

Ifil scores again but Town have to settle for a point

Coca-Cola League One

RESULT: Hereford 1 Swindon Town 1

Hereford scorer: B Hudson-Odoi 66
Swindon scorer: J Ifil 45

It looked like Town were going to take their third away victory in a week - but a second-half strike from Bradley Hudson-Odoi was enough for the sides to share the points.

Town were handed a deserved lead just before the break when Jerel Ifil was on hand to smash home his second goal in as many games.

But missed chances and the Hereford woodwork - on three occasions - denied the Robins the chance to go fourth in League One.

"Hereford put us under pressure in the second-half, but credit to the players.

"They stuck to their guns and on the whole we can't be too unhappy," concluded Town manager Maurice Malpas.
